Handmade in Japan, the attention to detail is absolute and includes AUS10A high-carbon, vanadium stainless steel blades with hand-sharpened 16° double-bevel edges (32° comprehensive), along with contoured tagayasan (wenge wood) handles. This heritage finish hides scratches with a rustic look that improves with age.
